Mongolia - New Turbine for Darkhan Thermal Power Plant (DTPP)
The existing Darkhan Thermal Power Plant is a coal-fired steam power plant with a total capacity of 50 MW, sole purpose of which is to supply electricity, process steam and heat to surrounding industrial consumers and to the city of Darkhan. It comprises the following installations:
- 9 boilers, each having a capacity of 75 t/h at 440 ºC and 39 barat,
- 4 extraction steam turbines each having a capacity of 12 MWel,
- associated auxiliary and ancillary plant.
The project comprises consulting services for
- the erection of a new turbine house and control room
- the supply and installation of a new 35 MWe extraction condensing turbine
- the supply and installation of related steam turbine instrumentation and control
- the supply and installation of high-pressure and cooling water pipelines, a new cooling tower, and of electrical equipment for the 0.4, 6, 35 and 110 kV systems of the plant;
- the supply and installation of two new 40 MVA transformers;

Slovakia - Complex ES Bystricany - Transformation 400 / 100 kV
This project is related to the shutdown of Bohunice V1 NPP and is supported through the Bohunice International Decommissioning Support Fund (BIDSF). It includes the following technical measures:
- Construction of a new 400 kV substation and two new 400/110 kV transformers adjacent to Bystričany 220 kV Substation
- Construction of a new double-circuit 400 kV OHL (30 km) between Horna Zdana Substation and Bystričany Substation and Oslany municipality to connect the new Bystričany Substation to the 400 kV network
- Extension of the 400 kV Substation Horna Zdana by two bays for connection to the 400 kV OHL from Bystričany Substation
- Construction of a new double-circuit 400 kV overhead line (80 km) between the Bystričany and Krizovany Substations, one circuit being operated at the 220 kV level
- Extension of the 400 kV Substation Krizovany by one bay to permit connection to the 400 kV overhead line from Bystričany Substation
Services under the overall project are divided into three stages:

Guinea - Conakry Electrical Networks (PREREC 2)
PREREC 2 aims at contributing to the improvement of the government and financial management of EDG, at assisting the government in the reform of the subsector and at extending the electricity distribution network in the Lambandji, Kobaya, Wanindara and Yattayah quarters of the country's capital. It is a follow-up to the first project, PREREC 1.
The project foresees the construction of the following installations:
- 20 km of mixed MV/LV lines
- 87 km of LV lines
- 49 kiosk MV/LV substations
- 20,000 consumer connections and installation of 20,000 prepaid meters
- 3,500 street lighting units

Mauritania - Solar Energy-Based Rural Electrification in the Aftout Elchargui Region
The Mauritanian Government initiated a national strategy to provide universal access to basic services (water, energy, telecommunication) in rural and suburban areas. In this context, the Government received a loan from the Islamic Development Bank and the OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID) for the implementation of strategic investments in electricity infrastructure, one of the components being consultancy services for project supervision. The project includes mainly:
- the procurement and installation of (i) one solar PV plant with an estimated capacity of 2.6 MWc and storage, (ii) a diesel back-up system to complement the electricity production (2 diesel gensets), and the optimisation of the envisaged electricity production as per the prevailing conditions
- the construction of approx. 270 km of HV transmission networks and approx. 60 km of LV distribution networks as well as approx. 6,000 consumer connections

Burundi - Hydropower Plant Rusumo Falls - Transmission Line Component (Burundi part of the regional project Burundi - Ruanda - Tanzania)
The "Regional Hydropower Plant Rusumo Falls" project was jointly developed by Burundi, Rwanda, and Tanzania. It includes the construction of a hydropower plant as well as the construction of 387 km of high-voltage lines and associated substations in the three countries (the present project).
In Burundi, services include detailed design and works supervision for the following:
- a 220 kV double-circuit transmission line of 161 km length, from the hydropower plant to the existing Gitega substation (double circuit, with steel groundwire and an OPGW on lattice steel towers);
- a new 220/30 kV substation at Muyinga, a new 220/110 kV substation at Gitega and its connection to the existing 130/30 kV substation at Gitega.

The Consultant's services are divided into two phases Phase I: Tendering, Phase II: Construction):
- "Owner's Engineer" during Phase I: Assistance during the tendering stage (preparation of tender documents; only for Bujagali Substation), clarifications, pre-bid conference and site visit, bid evaluation and post-tender clarifications, evaluation report, contract negotiations, and preparation of contract).
- Project Management during Phase II: Construction supervision (contract management, design review, supervision of works on site, testing, commissioning and reporting, quality and cost control, taking over), and assistance during the defects liability period (rectification of defects, completion certificates, final accounts).
