Bangladesh - Energy Efficiency in Grid Based Power Supply Project (EEGBPSP)
The P.R. of Bangladesh received a loan from KfW Development Bank for the "Energy Efficiency in Grid Based Power Supply Project". Objective of this project is to increase reliability and efficiency of the electricity supply in the country through expanding and improving the 230 and 132 kV power transmission systems of PGCB. Technical measures under the project include the following:
- new construction, extension or rehabilitation of 230/132 kV, 2 x 225/300 MVA GIS and AIS substations,
- new construction of 132/33 kV GIS and AIS substations,
- new construction, renovation or stringing of second circuit of 230 kV and 132 kV transmission lines (single or double-circuit), including OPGW,
- various line in/line out connections to 132 and 230 kV substations,

Jordan - Al Zaatari PV Power Plant
The project concerns the construction of a solar photovoltaic (PV) power plant with an installed capacity of approximately 13 MW in Zaatari Refugee Camp, 10 km east of Mafraq City. The purpose of the project is to contribute to a sustainable power supply for refugees and to increase resilience of the regional distribution network following the influx of refugees to Northern Jordan. More generally, the project also contributes to the goal of the national strategy to further expand generation from renewable energy, to protect the environment by producing pollution-free electrical energy and to avoid the generation of CO2 at reasonable economic costs.

Tanzania - Kenya-Tanzania Power Interconnection Project (KTPIP) (Tanzanian Part)
Tanzania and Kenya have joined forces to construct a 400 kV interconnection line that runs from a proposed 400 kV substation at Isinya near Nairobi in Kenya up to Arusha in Tanzania (210 km) and further to a planned 400 kV substation in Singida (300 km). Works in Tanzania are divided into 6 lots as follows:
- Lot T1: 400 kV double circuit OHL between Singida and Babati (approx. 150 km)
- Lot T2: 400 kV double circuit OHL between Babati and Arusha (approx.(150 km)

In order to increase the effective installed generating capacity in Benin, a program has been established to attract the participation of Independent Power Producers (IPPs) to develop, design, construct, operate and maintain solar photovoltaic (PV) generation facilities in the country. The program includes the development of an IPP institutional framework and standard forms of contract as well as the execution of a competitive bidding process for GoB.
The selected Consultant will structure and lead the transaction process for GoB as Transaction Advisor. The solar PV sites are located in Natitingou (5 MW), Parakou (15 MW), Djougou (10 MW) and Bohicon (15 MW).

In the framework of the Rural Electrification Programme - Component I SHS (REP I), financed by the Federal Republic of Germany through KfW, the development objective of the project is to improve the access to clean and sustainable energy for the rural population in three districts of the Southern Shan State aiming at supporting the implementation of the National Electrification Plan of the Government of Myanmar.
The main objectives of the activities under this project are to:
- support the client (DRD) in the successful implementation of the programme
- strengthen and institutionalise DRD’s capacity to promote sustainable, off-grid electrification in rural areas through renewable energy sources
Important success factors of the programme are, among others: (1) 23,000 households have access to electricity at least four hours per day in 2022; (2) Solar systems produce at least 1.8 GWh/a in 2022; (3) support in setting up a sustainable battery recycling system as of 2022.

Morocco - NOOR Midelt Solar Power Complex CSP Program
NOOR Midelt ("NOORM") is the second solar power complex to be developed in the framework of Morocco's NOOR Solar Plan. It covers an area of about 2,400 hectares and is located some 25 km northeast of the city of Midelt. The total capacity shall be between 800-1600 MW, and the plant will comprise different CSP and PV technologies.

Vetroelecktrane is developing and executing, together with their major shareholders Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company-Masdar and Continental Wind Partners (CWP), a wind farm consisting of 57 Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) of 110m hub height and 2.8 MW rated power, 86 km 35 kV cables, main transformer station (35 kV/400 kV; 2x 90 MVA), 11 km double circuit 400 kV OHL and corresponding infrastructure. The consultant has been appointed by the client to manage the project as owner's engineer, providing Project Management Consulting Services (PMC) and site supervision services (including design review, procurement, construction supervision, commissioning, start-up and testing) as well as technical advice and support during negotiations with third parties. The scope includes the following work packages:

NOOR Midelt ("NOORM") is the second solar power complex to be developed in the framework of Morocco's NOOR Solar Plan. It covers an area of about 2,400 hectares and is located some 25 km northeast of the city of Midelt. The total capacity shall be between 800-1600 MW, and the plant will comprise different CSP and PV technologies.
The project covers the development of one or more projects under an independent power production (IPP) scheme. The pertinent consulting services are the following:
- Feasibility study, selection of preferred technologies and recommended project configuration, incl. the 225 kV grid connection
- Preparation of the Request for Pre-Qualification (RfQ) documents and management of the qualification process
- Preparation of 2-stage Request for Proposal (RfP) documents and management of the tendering procedure
- Bid evaluation, assistance during contract award and finalization of all project agreements.
